Welcome To Waalsekerk Church

Waalsekerk Church has been sharing the word of God since 1998. We are still growing in numbers and planning to have another satellite church to share the gospel with more people. Here at Waalsekerk Church, every day is an Amsterdam holiday (more of Amsterdam weekend coach trips). Every day is a gift of God and we should celebrate our life and salvation through Christ Jesus. If you are looking for a congregation to join, Waalsekerk Church gives you a warm welcome.

Sunday Worship is Sacred

Every Sunday, we gather in our church to bring our hearts to the Lord. We have two services. One in the morning that starts at 9 AM and ends at 11 AM. Our afternoon service starts at 3 PM and ends at 6 PM. You may choose the schedule you want to attend, as we understand that some of our members are working on Sundays. This day of the week is a day of rest. It is a sacred day dedicated to the Lord. Deuteronomy 5:14 says, ”but the seventh day is a sabbath to the LORD your God. On it, you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your ox, your donkey or any of your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns, so that your male and female servants may rest, as you do.” Sunday is the day when you should leave all your cares to be with the presence of the Lord. The Lord will give you sufficient energy to conquer the week.

Discipleship and Ministries

To strengthen one another, we have ministries and discipleship for everyone. As we Christians, we know how to have fun. We visit the van Gogh Museum Amsterdam to reflect on God-given talents and wisdom through the gifts of these artists. We also have our own Amsterdam Heineken experience by singing praises to the Lord and partaking communion.

We encourage our members to participate in our ministries to support the goals of the church in spreading light all over the city. Bible says that Christians are the salt and light of the world. Without us, this world would be a dark place. Let’s fulfil our mission through the love and grace of our Almighty God.

Receive Your Salvation Through Jesus Christ

Waalsekerk Church believes in the message of grace. Grace teaches us about salvation. We are not saved by our good deeds but by the righteousness of Jesus Christ. He saved us from the grips of hell so we can have eternal life. This is the most important race we should finish. No other things, money, fame, and dreams could match the prize of being saved. We should be thankful that we are no longer bound by sin. We have received the righteousness of God. It is freely given. No amount of good works will save us but only by accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour.
